Art, sound, design — the passion for creation gathered under one roof. This weekend, we say goodbye to this address and open the doors on what grew inside.

The Shell Comes Off

April 23 – 26, 2026

Fourteen months at Fiskislóð 18. The door was mostly closed. We were inside making — paint, music, code, clothing, ceremony. Not announcing. Not explaining. Just creating.

This weekend, the doors open. Across four days, what grew inside steps out. It's a farewell.

Farewell to this address, not to Cocoon.

The Art

Daylight and mood lighting. The paintings live in the space — no velvet rope, no glass, no curated distance. Walk up to them. Sit with them.

Faxi's paintings are out, joined by work from Raffaella, Logi, and the full Cocoon roster. Thursday opened with Faxi holding the majority of the floor; the full roster stays on the walls through Sunday.

Faxi

Paintings lead the space. Cacao ceremony Saturday evening.

Raffaella

Original paintings. Live performance Friday at 20:00.

Logi

Paintings throughout the weekend. A preview of work heading to his summer exhibition.

Most pieces find their owners during the weekend. Ask the artists what remains.

What is Cocoon

Cocoon is what happens when passionate artists, musicians, and makers come together under one roof.

It started as a working space for painters at Fiskislóð 18, Grandi. It grew into a creative agency, events production, the C³ wearable line, and Parallax Engine. The collective is the root; everything else came up around it.

Cocoon is not ending. It's morphing. The shell comes off in these four days — Cocoon itself continues. The room moves with it.

This weekend is the showcase. Fourteen months of inside-making, now on the walls and in the air.

· · ·

A cocoon is, by nature, shifting.

Cocoon is less a fixed roster than the container that holds the creative development of its team. Painters, musicians, designers, two tailors, a music producer — some stayed, some moved on. The container stays.

The People

The current roster — painters, musicians, and the ones who keep the doors open.
